Der Zusammenhang von Musik und Emotion ist gemeinhin un¬
umstritten und alltäglich von jedermann zu erfahren: Das Mu¬
sikhören kann die unterschiedlichsten Gefühle beim Rezipien-
ten hervorrufen. Doch welche konkreten emotionalen Prozesse
spielen sich innerhalb des therapeutischen Musizierens ab? Wel¬
che Emotionen erfolgen bei einer Improvisation? Dieser Frage
geht Thomas Wosch anhand authentischer klinischer Beispiele
nach. Dazu wird ein innovatives Untersuchungsinstrumentari¬
um auf emotionspsychologischer Basis entwickelt, welches emo¬
tionale Prozesse von Klient und Therapeut mikroanalytisch dif¬
ferenziert aufzeigt. Sowohl für die Forschung als auch die Praxis
der Musiktherapie werden damit neue und
integrative
Perspek¬
tiven zur Erkundung und Nutzung emotionaler Mikroprozesse
geboten, welche fachübergreifend auch die psychotherapeuti¬
sche Prozessforschung, die
Emotions-
und Musikpsychologie
verbinden.
»Im Hinblick auf Erkenntnisfortschritte, die in der derzeit
noch gespaltenen Musiktherapielandschaft zu
krass
divergieren¬
den Wissenschaftspositionen führen, ist die Arbeit von s mgulärer
Bedeutung und möglicherweise ein -stiller Durchhruciu zur
Annäherung von früher getrennt entwickelter Musiktherapie in
Ost- und Westdeutschland und damit zu einer erwünschten inte-
grativen Interdependenz zwischen diesen und anderen Musikthe¬
rapie-Strömungen.« (Prof. Dr. H.-H. Decker-Voigt)
Thomas Wosch, Jahrgang 1966, promovierte mit dieser Arbeit an
der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg. Der Magister der
Musikwissenschaft, Psychologie und Soziologie sowie Musikthe¬
rapeut der DMVO arbeitete ein knappes Jahrzehnt in psychiatri¬
schen Kliniken und an der Akademie für angewandte Musikthe¬
rapie
Crossen
und ist im Rahmen nationaler und internationa¬
ler musiktherapeutischer Gremien tätig. Seit 1998 ist er Dozent
für Musiktherapie im Studiengang Diplom-Heilpadagogik und
Mitbegründer des Studienganges Diplom-Musiktherapie der
Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal (FH).
