Zusammenfassung: | The purpose of the project has been to identify how date labelling legislation on food is practised in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden and how the durability can be affected in the food supply chain. The project recommends enhanced guidance for manufacturers, retailers and consumers. When prolonging the durability of the product, the retail waste decreased significantly. The results show that the type of packaging gas and storage temperature is of great importance for the durability of food products. Consumer studies reveal a need for guidance on how long products may be eaten after opening of the package. The individual consumer needs clearer and more easily accessible information on different labelling, storage temperature and durability of products. |

The individual consumer needs clearer and more easily accessible information on different labelling, storage temperature and durability of products.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="504" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Includes bibliographical references.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="651" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Denmark.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n79021597</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="651" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Finland.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n79065711</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="651" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Norway.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n79021528</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="651" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Sweden.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n79021184</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="651" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Denmark</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39QbtfRC7kMQT98kFPPM9vCkc</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="651" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Finland</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PBJtMjwrX6pdK3hJc64v8md</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="651" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Norway</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39QbtfRyK4jjG7gmVvd83RM4Y</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="651" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Sweden</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39QbtfRmFKpvRPQrQfjc7kBGB</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Hagtvedt, Therese.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Lødrup, Nina.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="776" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Print version:</subfield><subfield code="a">Møller, Hanne.</subfield><subfield code="t">Food waste and date labelling : Issues affecting the durability.</subfield><subfield code="d">Copenhagen : Nordic Council of Ministers, ©2016</subfield><subfield code="z">9789289345569</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="830" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">TemaNord.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n95122691</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2="0"><subfield code="l">FWS01</subfield><subfield code="p">ZDB-4-EBA</subfield><subfield code="q">FWS_PDA_EBA</subfield><subfield code="u">https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site&db=nlebk&AN=1353748</subfield><subfield code="3">Volltext</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">YBP Library Services</subfield><subfield code="b">YANK</subfield><subfield code="n">301088673</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">EBL - Ebook Library</subfield><subfield code="b">EBLB</subfield><subfield code="n">EBL4662400</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">YBP Library Services</subfield><subfield code="b">YANK</subfield><subfield code="n">13152437</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">EBSCOhost</subfield><subfield code="b">EBSC</subfield><subfield code="n">1353748</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="994" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">92</subfield><subfield code="b">GEBAY</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">ZDB-4-EBA</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="049" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">DE-863</subfield></datafield></record></collection> |

The purpose of the project has been to identify how date labelling legislation on food is practised in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden and how the durability can be affected in the food supply chain. Includes bibliographical references.
