Zusammenfassung: | The move toward greater efficiency and accountability in the human services has weakened the bond between users and providers. This book rethinks traditional networks of exchange so that professionals can find new ways to foster trust and collaboration within modern management strategies. The text redefines the contours, roles, institutional divisions, means, and aims of providing and receiving services in child welfare, addiction treatment, social enterprise, doctoring, mental health, and palliative care. Though it advocates an experience-near approach, this book remains sensitive to the ambiguities and competing rationalities of the service relationship. Nevertheless, it proves through everyday examples that the goals of service provision cannot be met without quality, interpersonal interaction. |

Nevertheless, it proves through everyday examples that the goals of service provision cannot be met without quality, interpersonal interaction.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="546" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">In English.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Human services.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh87006649</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Physician and patient.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85101608</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Interpersonal relations.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85067484</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Social service</subfield><subfield code="x">Societies, etc.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85124060</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Services sociaux.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Relations médecin-patient.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">social services.</subfield><subfield code="2">aat</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">POLITICAL SCIENCE</subfield><subfield code="x">Public Policy</subfield><subfield code="x">Social Security.</subfield><subfield code="2">bisacsh</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">POLITICAL SCIENCE</subfield><subfield code="x">Public Policy</subfield><subfield code="x">Social Services & Welfare.</subfield><subfield code="2">bisacsh</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Social service</subfield><subfield code="x">Societies, etc.</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Human services</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Interpersonal relations</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Physician and patient</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Gubrium, Jaber F.,</subfield><subfield code="e">editor.</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PBJgMwYHqpX8XdpRKDJpMfq</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n79054343</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Andreassen, Tone Alm,</subfield><subfield code="e">editor.</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PBJhXc6jBHv9MYGjmvwmjmd</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n2016008264</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Solvang, Per,</subfield><subfield code="e">editor.</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PCjyJrYTcqdtbQxfw6pdgjC</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/no2006013148</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="758" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="i">has work:</subfield><subfield code="a">Reimagining the human service relationship (Text)</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PCH66fCfqBjRdXV9PXpbMHd</subfield><subfield code="4">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/ontology/hasWork</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="776" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Print version:</subfield><subfield code="t">Reimagining the human service relationship.</subfield><subfield code="d">New York : Columbia University Press, [2016]</subfield><subfield code="z">9780231171526</subfield><subfield code="w">(DLC) 2015040350</subfield><subfield code="w">(OCoLC)928614628</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2="0"><subfield code="l">FWS01</subfield><subfield code="p">ZDB-4-EBA</subfield><subfield code="q">FWS_PDA_EBA</subfield><subfield code="u">https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site&db=nlebk&AN=1260443</subfield><subfield code="3">Volltext</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Digitalia Publishing</subfield><subfield code="b">DGIT</subfield><subfield code="n">DIGCOLUP0848</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">De Gruyter</subfield><subfield code="b">DEGR</subfield><subfield code="n">9780231541787</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">EBL - The move toward greater efficiency and accountability in the human services has weakened the bond between users and providers. In English.
