Zusammenfassung: | This book had its origins in the NATO Advanced Study Institute (ASI) held in Ohrid, Macedonia, in 2014. The focus of this ASI was the arithmetic of superelliptic curves and their application in different scientific areas, including whether all the applications of hyperelliptic curves, such as cryptography, mathematical physics, quantum computation and diophantine geometry, can be carried over to the superelliptic curves. Additional papers have been added which provide some background for readers who were not at the conference, with the intention of making the book logically more complete and easier to read, but familiarity with the basic facts of algebraic geometry, commutative algebra and number theory are assumed. The book is divided into three sections. The first part deals with superelliptic curves with regard to complex numbers, the automorphisms group and the corresponding Hurwitz loci. The second part of the book focuses on the arithmetic of the subject, while the third addresses some of the applications of superelliptic curves. |

The second part of the book focuses on the arithmetic of the subject, while the third addresses some of the applications of superelliptic curves.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="588" ind1="0" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Online resource; title from PDF title page (EBSCO, viewed July 22, 2015).</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Curves, Elliptic</subfield><subfield code="v">Congresses.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Cryptography</subfield><subfield code="v">Congresses.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Courbes elliptiques</subfield><subfield code="v">Congrès.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Cryptographie</subfield><subfield code="v">Congrès.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">MATHEMATICS</subfield><subfield code="x">Geometry</subfield><subfield code="x">General.</subfield><subfield code="2">bisacsh</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Cryptography</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Curves, Elliptic</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">proceedings (reports)</subfield><subfield code="2">aat</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Conference papers and proceedings</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Conference papers and proceedings.</subfield><subfield code="2">lcgft</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/genreForms/gf2014026068</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Actes de congrès.</subfield><subfield code="2">rvmgf</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Beshaj, Lubjana,</subfield><subfield code="d">1986-</subfield><subfield code="e">editor.</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PCjqW98YfFgMBpwcbMgPXwK</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/no2018143344</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Shaska, Tony,</subfield><subfield code="d">1967-</subfield><subfield code="e">editor.</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PCjvQWpqDhkFqFGc4pTRR8C</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n2017066794</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Zhupa, Eustrat.,</subfield><subfield code="e">editor.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="776" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Print version:</subfield><subfield code="a">Beshaj, L.</subfield><subfield code="t">Advances on Superelliptic Curves and Their Applications.</subfield><subfield code="d">Burke : IOS Press, ©2015</subfield><subfield code="z">9781614995197</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="830" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">NATO science for peace and security series.</subfield><subfield code="n">Sub-series D,</subfield><subfield code="p">Information and communication security ;</subfield><subfield code="v">v. 41.</subfield><subfield code="x">1879-8292</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/no2007140990</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2="0"><subfield code="l">FWS01</subfield><subfield code="p">ZDB-4-EBA</subfield><subfield code="q">FWS_PDA_EBA</subfield><subfield code="u">https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site&db=nlebk&AN=1030187</subfield><subfield code="3">Volltext</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">EBL - Ebook Library</subfield><subfield code="b">EBLB</subfield><subfield code="n">EBL3563926</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">EBSCOhost</subfield><subfield code="b">EBSC</subfield><subfield code="n">1030187</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">ProQuest MyiLibrary Digital eBook Collection</subfield><subfield code="b">IDEB</subfield><subfield code="n">cis32107456</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">YBP Library Services</subfield><subfield code="b">YANK</subfield><subfield code="n">12538109</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="994" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">92</subfield><subfield code="b">GEBAY</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">ZDB-4-EBA</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="049" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">DE-863</subfield></datafield></record></collection> |

Tonchev. This book had its origins in the NATO Advanced Study Institute (ASI) held in Ohrid, Macedonia, in 2014.
