The artistic archives of the GDR and approach to handing them, as well as their contemporary role, are examined and discussed from this starting point. The focus is on the archive as a site of pictures, which document and comment on a variety of structural changes in the culture. |

The artistic archives of the GDR and approach to handing them, as well as their contemporary role, are examined and discussed from this starting point.
