Zusammenfassung: | "In the space of one generation major changes have begun to take place in the field of human reproduction. A rapid increase in the control of fertility and the understanding and treatment of sexual health issues have been accompanied by an emerging threat to reproductive function linked to increasing environmental pollution and dramatic changes in lifestyle. Organised around four key themes, this book provides a valuable review of some of the most important recent findings in human reproductive ecology. Major topics include the impact of the environment on reproduction, the role of physical activity and energetics in regulating reproduction, sexual maturation and ovulation assessment and demographic, health and family planning issues. Both theoretical and practical issues are covered, including the evolution and importance of the menopause and the various statistical methods by which researchers can analyse characteristics of the menstrual cycle in field studies"-- |

Both theoretical and practical issues are covered, including the evolution and importance of the menopause and the various statistical methods by which researchers can analyse characteristics of the menstrual cycle in field studies"--</subfield><subfield code="c">Provided by publisher</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="588" ind1="0" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Print version record.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Human reproduction</subfield><subfield code="x">Environmental aspects.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Fertility, Human</subfield><subfield code="x">Environmental aspects.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Human ecology.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85062856</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Adaptation (Physiology)</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85000801</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Environmental health.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85044173</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Fertility.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85047895</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="2"><subfield code="a">Reproduction</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="2"><subfield code="a">Adaptation, Physiological</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="2"><subfield code="a">Environmental Health</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="2"><subfield code="a">Fertility</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Reproduction humaine</subfield><subfield code="x">Aspect de l'environnement.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Fécondité humaine</subfield><subfield code="x">Aspect de l'environnement.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Écologie humaine.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Adaptation (Physiologie)</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Hygiène du milieu.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Fécondité.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">human ecology.</subfield><subfield code="2">aat</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">MEDICAL</subfield><subfield code="x">Reproductive Medicine & Technology.</subfield><subfield code="2">bisacsh</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Fertility</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Environmental health</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Adaptation (Physiology)</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Fertility, Human</subfield><subfield code="x">Environmental aspects</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Human ecology</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Electronic book.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Electronic books.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Mascie-Taylor, C.
