Zusammenfassung: | The Marcel Grossmann Meetings are three-yearly forums that meet to discuss recent advances in gravitation, general relativity and relativistic field theories, emphasizing their mathematical foundations, physical predictions and experimental tests. These meetings aim to facilitate the exchange of ideas among scientists, to deepen our understanding of space-time structures, and to review the status of ongoing experiments and observations testing Einstein's theory of gravitation either from ground or space-based experiments. Since the first meeting in 1975 in Trieste, Italy, which was established by Remo Ruffini and Abdus Salam, the range of topics presented at these meetings has gradually widened to accommodate issues of major scientific interest, and attendance has grown to attract more than 900 participants from over 80 countries. This proceedings volume of the eleventh meeting in the series, held in Berlin in 2006, highlights and records the developments and applications of Einstein's theory in diverse areas ranging from fundamental field theories to particle physics, astrophysics and cosmology, made possible by unprecedented technological developments in experimental and observational techniques from space, ground and underground observatories. It provides a broad sampling of the current work in the field, especially relativistic astrophysics, including many reviews by leading figures in the research community. |

It provides a broad sampling of the current work in the field, especially relativistic astrophysics, including many reviews by leading figures in the research community.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">General relativity (Physics)</subfield><subfield code="v">Congresses.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Gravitation</subfield><subfield code="v">Congresses.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Quantum gravity</subfield><subfield code="v">Congresses.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Cosmology</subfield><subfield code="v">Congresses.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Astrophysics</subfield><subfield code="v">Congresses.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Relativité générale (Physique)</subfield><subfield code="v">Congrès.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Gravitation</subfield><subfield code="v">Congrès.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Gravité quantique</subfield><subfield code="v">Congrès.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Cosmologie</subfield><subfield code="v">Congrès.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Astrophysique</subfield><subfield code="v">Congrès.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">SCIENCE</subfield><subfield code="x">Physics</subfield><subfield code="x">Relativity.</subfield><subfield code="2">bisacsh</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Astrophysics</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Cosmology</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">General relativity (Physics)</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Gravitation</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Quantum gravity</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Conference papers and proceedings</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Kleinert, Hagen.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Jantzen, Robert T.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="710" ind1="2" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">World Scientific (Firm)</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/no2001005546</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="758" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="i">has work:</subfield><subfield code="a">C (2008) The Eleventh Marcel Grossmann Meeting on Recent Developments in Theoretical and Experimental General Relativity, Gravitation and Relativistic Field Theories (Text)</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PCH9kMpdk9tyw9VBfdVdrtq</subfield><subfield code="4">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/ontology/hasWork</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="776" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Print version:</subfield><subfield code="z">9789812834263</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="776" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Print version:</subfield><subfield code="z">9812834265</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="776" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Print version:</subfield><subfield code="z">9789812834270</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="776" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Print version:</subfield><subfield code="z">9812834273</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2="0"><subfield code="l">FWS01</subfield><subfield code="p">ZDB-4-EBA</subfield><subfield code="q">FWS_PDA_EBA</subfield><subfield code="u">https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site&db=nlebk&AN=521235</subfield><subfield code="3">Volltext</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">EBSCOhost</subfield><subfield code="b">EBSC</subfield><subfield code="n">521235</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="994" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">92</subfield><subfield code="b">GEBAY</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">ZDB-4-EBA</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="049" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">DE-863</subfield></datafield></record></collection> |

The Marcel Grossmann Meetings are three-yearly forums that meet to discuss recent advances in gravitation, general relativity and relativistic field theories, emphasizing their mathematical foundations, physical predictions and experimental tests.
