Zusammenfassung: | "The rise of modern science and the proclaimed 'death' of God in the nineteenth century led to a radical questioning of divine action and authorship - Bultmann's celebrated 'demythologizing'. Remythologizing Theology moves in another direction that begins by taking seriously the biblical accounts of God's speaking. It establishes divine communicative action as the formal and material principle of theology, and suggests that interpersonal dialogue, rather than impersonal causality, is the keystone of God's relationship with the world. This original contribution to the theology of divine action and authorship develops a new vision of Christian theism. It also revisits several long-standing controversies such as the relations of God's sovereignty to human freedom, time to eternity, and suffering to love. Groundbreaking and thought-provoking, it brings theology into fruitful dialogue with philosophy, literary theory, and biblical studies"--Provided by publisher |

Groundbreaking and thought-provoking, it brings theology into fruitful dialogue with philosophy, literary theory, and biblical studies"--Provided by publisher</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="588" ind1="0" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Print version record.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="600" ind1="1" ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Bultmann, Rudolf,</subfield><subfield code="d">1884-1976.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n79032119</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="600" ind1="1" ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Bultmann, Rudolf,</subfield><subfield code="d">1884-1976</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PBJr3B6ffvpc6x4RT8Y4jG3</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="600" ind1="1" ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Bultmann, Rudolf</subfield><subfield code="d">1884-1976</subfield><subfield code="2">gnd</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="600" ind1="0" ind2="7"><subfield code="a">WELT</subfield><subfield code="2">gnd</subfield><subfield code="0">http://d-nb.info/gnd/1231751711</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Philosophical theology.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85100848</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">God (Christianity)</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh2006004316</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Demythologization.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85036688</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Théologie philosophique.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Dieu (Christianisme)</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Démythologisation.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">RELIGION</subfield><subfield code="x">Christianity</subfield><subfield code="x">General.</subfield><subfield code="2">bisacsh</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">RELIGION</subfield><subfield code="x">Christian Theology</subfield><subfield code="x">Systematic.</subfield><subfield code="2">bisacsh</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Demythologization</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">God (Christianity)</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Philosophical theology</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Entmythologisierung</subfield><subfield code="2">gnd</subfield><subfield code="0">http://d-nb.info/gnd/4014889-0</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Gott</subfield><subfield code="2">gnd</subfield><subfield code="0">http://d-nb.info/gnd/4021662-7</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Kommunikation</subfield><subfield code="2">gnd</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Mythos</subfield><subfield code="2">gnd</subfield><subfield code="0">http://d-nb.info/gnd/4075159-4</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Welt</subfield><subfield code="2">gnd</subfield><subfield code="0">http://d-nb.info/gnd/4065341-9</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Electronic books.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Electronic books.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="758" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="i">has work:</subfield><subfield code="a">Remythologizing theology (Text)</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PCGhVVHgfKJfgtfPt7d8qKm</subfield><subfield code="4">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/ontology/hasWork</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="776" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Print version:</subfield><subfield code="a">Vanhoozer, Kevin J.</subfield><subfield code="t">Remythologizing theology.</subfield><subfield code="d">Cambridge, UK ; "The rise of modern science and the proclaimed 'death' of God in the nineteenth century led to a radical questioning of divine action and authorship - Bultmann's celebrated 'demythologizing'. Groundbreaking and thought-provoking, it brings theology into fruitful dialogue with philosophy, literary theory, and biblical studies"--Provided by publisher Print version record.
