The work is based on the oral Galician of low-schooled speakers and uses the traditional dialectological approach of surveys and recordings. Galician is a fusion language with fused expressions of different categories in the same word. It is argued that some irregular verbs are athematic, the irregular verbs themselves are described in detail and analyzed morphologically, and many linguistic changes taking place in the verbal system of the studied speech are explained"--(Provided by publisher.) |
