In this work, David A. Shaw analyses contemporary accounts of the apocalyptic Paul in relation to the interpretive tradition with which they identify. In doing so, he sets out careful commentaries on the work of the scholars most often associated with apocalyptic readings of Paul, revealing more diversity and development than is often acknowledged. The volume is the first to offer detailed exegetical engagement with these scholars’ understandings of Romans 1-8. |
