Zusammenfassung:The debate on the quality of mediation and the acknowledgement of mediators has gained momentum across various continents. It has sparked significant interest and investment involving professionals, mediator associations, scholars, researchers, and educators. (Re)Thinking Mediation Training: National and International Contributions is the book of proceedings of an International Congress held within the European LIMEdiat project. This book extends and updates the debate on mediation and mediators’ training, providing insights and practices committed to enhancing the quality of training in this field. The book is structured around three main pillars, each addressing specific and complementary themes. The first pillar is centred on training, quality and ethics in mediation; the second examines the training and skill sets required for mediators in the 21st century; and the third axis focuses on mediation, education and social transformation. This book provides a comprehensive overview of contemporary, multidisciplinary insights into mediator training in national and international contexts. It underscores the diversity of approaches and perspectives regarding the significance of mediation, the need for high-quality mediator training, and the professional acknowledgement of mediators in today’s societies.
