Beschreibung: | The monograph "Total Logistics Management. Logistics and Supply Chains 4.0" presents a futuristic model of logistics and supply chains using the technological leverage of Industry 4.0 and the assumptions of the concept of Society 5.0 against the background of a dynamically changing environment. The work is divided into two parts. In the first part, selected challenges facing logistics and supply chains are described, relating in particular to sustainable development and the circular economy, Industry 4.0, Society 5.0, disruptions affecting logistics and supply chains and their prospects for progress against the background of economic development scenarios. Part two of the monograph, focuses on the logistics concepts in practice, i.e. lean, agile, lean-agile, resilient and green logistics and supply chains, which are discussed in the context of their applicability against the backdrop of the disruptions discussed in the publication. The last two chapters, of the second part of the work, are a conceptual structuring of the Total Logistics Management concept and present the author's Logistics and Supply Chain 4.0 model, taking into account the current challenges facing logistics and supply chains. The presented book is a good starting point for academic and practical discussion, on the future of logistics and supply chains in such a turbulently changing environment |
