Diese Geschichte der arabischen Welt behandelt den Zeitraum des 20. Jahrhunderts, vom Beginn des Ersten Weltkriegs bis zum Ausbruch der "Dritten Arabischen Revolte" ab 2011. Im Mittelpunkt der Darstellung steht die Entwicklung aller 22 Mitgliedsländer der Arabischen Liga.
