Composed for the use of publick and private schools, as well as for the use of families. By John Langton, writing-master at Stamford in Lincolnshire. Also another new copy-book in two sizes. of the Italian-hand. Composed for the practice of the female sex, being in the same form and order. Engraven from his original copies, and sold at his school near the free-school in Stamford aforesaid. By the author hereof, all the usual hands of Great Britain, are taught: first and principally the law hands, viz. the square text, the strong sett, or engrossing, with the small setts and secretaries, the exemplifying court, the small and running court; also the sett and common chanceries, with their respective abbreviations applicable to forms of business, required or practicable in the law.
