Some previous attributions to the artist have now been retracted, making his work appear more homogeneous. However, previously unknown works have also been reassigned to him, resulting in a considerable catalog of works that clearly illustrates the artist's stylistic genesis. This enables a fresh look at his oeuvre and the diverse stylistic influences of his new hometown of Graz. His important position within Austrian Baroque sculpture is also redefined. Jahrhunderts. Sein umfangreiches Schaffen wird hier erstmals international zusammengetragen und einer eingehenden Analyse unterzogen. Einige bisherige Zuschreibungen mussten dem Künstler aberkannt werden, was sein Schaffen nun homogener erscheinen lässt. Doch wurden ihm auch bislang unbekannte Werke neu zugewiesen, woraus ein beträchtlicher Werkkatalog resultiert, der die Stilgenese des Künstlers anschaulich werden lässt. Dies ermöglicht einen neuen Blick auf dessen Œuvre und die mannigfaltigen Stileinflüsse seiner neuen Heimatstadt Graz, zudem wird seine bedeutende Stellung innerhalb der österreichischen Barockplastik neu definiert. Jahrhunderts. Sein umfangreiches Schaffen wird hier erstmals international zusammengetragen und einer eingehenden Analyse unterzogen. Einige bisherige Zuschreibungen mussten dem Künstler aberkannt werden, was sein Schaffen nun homogener erscheinen lässt. Doch wurden ihm auch bislang unbekannte Werke neu zugewiesen, woraus ein beträchtlicher Werkkatalog resultiert, der die Stilgenese des Künstlers anschaulich werden lässt.
