Zusammenfassung:"As per Gartner there are eight major dimensions of Business Ecosystems namely Openness, Strategy, Participants, Relationships, Value Exchange, Industries, Complexity and Technology. However, Business Ecosystems are much more complex than the interactions of these dimensions. Innovative Capacity Building is not a newly formed construct but lacks a standard explanation. Jensen and Krogstrup (2017) define capacity building as: [...] the continuous enhancement of capabilities, but [capacity building] also concerns the building of the capacity to identify the need for further development as well as the need for new competences which may enable the formulation and achievement of own goals. Another definition that explicitly encompasses the individual and the organizational levels of analysis is provided by Ku and Yuen-Tsang (2013). They define capacity building as: Activities that strengthen the knowledge, abilities, skills and behaviour of individuals, and improve institutional structure and processes, so that the organization can efficiently meet its goals in a sustainable way (Ku and Yuen-Tsang, 2013). This study takes into context the current Pandemic issue and the changes occurring in the businesses around the globe. All nations are pressing the need to become self reliant and as such the need to analyse the concept and terminologies associated to Business Ecosystems and Social Innovation Ecosystems is required"
