Zusammenfassung: | This book analyses the intermeshing of state power and art history in Europe since 1945 and up to the present from a critical, de-centered perspective. Devoting special attention to European peripheries and to under-researched transnational cultural political initiatives related to the arts implemented after the end of the Second World War, the contributors explore the ways in which this relationship crystallised in specific moments, places, discourses and practices. They make the historic hegemonic centres of the discipline converse with Europe’s Southern and Eastern peripheries, from Portugal to Estonia to Greece. By stressing the margins’ point of view this volume rethinks the ideological grounds on which art history and the European Union have been constructed as well as the role played by art and culture in the very concept of ‘Europe.’ |

Hier auch später erschienene, unveränderte Nachdrucke This book analyses the intermeshing of state power and art history in Europe since 1945 and up to the present from a critical, de-centered perspective. By stressing the margins’ point of view this volume rethinks the ideological grounds on which art history and the European Union have been constructed as well as the role played by art and culture in the very concept of ‘Europe.’ Geschichte 1945-2000 gnd rswk-swf Demokratie (DE-588)4011413-2 gnd rswk-swf Ost-West-Konflikt (DE-588)4075770-5 gnd rswk-swf Totalitarismus (DE-588)4060491-3 gnd rswk-swf Kulturpolitik (DE-588)4033581-1 gnd rswk-swf Kunstgeschichte Fach (DE-588)4138803-3 gnd rswk-swf Staatsgewalt (DE-588)4056648-1 gnd rswk-swf Kunstgeschichtsschreibung (DE-588)4033643-8 gnd rswk-swf Europa (DE-588)4015701-5 gnd rswk-swf (DE-588)1071861417 Konferenzschrift Politics, State Power and the Making of Art History in Europe after 1945 06.2015 Madrid gnd-content (DE-588)4143413-4 Aufsatzsammlung gnd-content Europa (DE-588)4015701-5 g Kunstgeschichte Fach (DE-588)4138803-3 s Kunstgeschichtsschreibung (DE-588)4033643-8 s Kulturpolitik (DE-588)4033581-1 s Ost-West-Konflikt (DE-588)4075770-5 s Staatsgewalt (DE-588)4056648-1 s Totalitarismus (DE-588)4060491-3 s Demokratie (DE-588)4011413-2 s Geschichte 1945-2000 z DE-604 Haro García, Noemi de (DE-588)13366273X edt Mayayo, Patricia (DE-588)1083804324 edt Carrillo Castillo, Jesús Ma. 1966- (DE-588)13220908X edt Äquivalent Druck-Ausgabe, Hardcover 978-0-8153-9379-5 Erscheint auch als Online-Ausgabe, ebk. 978-1-351-18759-6 Digitalisierung UB Bamberg - ADAM Catalogue Enrichment application/pdf http://bvbr.bib-bvb.de:8991/F?func=service&doc_library=BVB01&local_base=BVB01&doc_number=034064552&sequence=000001&line_number=0001&func_code=DB_RECORDS&service_type=MEDIA Inhaltsverzeichnis |
