Zusammenfassung:For the 2019 edition of the Tchaikovsky Competition, one of the most talented pianists of his generation, Lucas Debargue, returns to Moscow for an exceptional piano recital. He presents audiences with an extremely personal recital program inspired by the works of two brilliant keyboardists, the Romantic virtuoso Liszt and the baroque genius of the harpsichord--composer of no less than 555 sonatas for his instrument!--Scarlatti. Debargue juxtaposes chef-d'oeuvres by the two geniuses with Nicolaï Medtner's Sonata in G Minor, the work he played as part of his breakthrough performance at the Tchaikovsky Competition the year before.
