St. Petersburg is one of the most beautiful cities of the world. In this program, Renée Fleming and Dmitri Hvorostovsky explore the most spectacular corners of the city that was born in the remarkable mind of Peter the Great. Renée Fleming and Dmitri Hvorostovsky have often performed in St. Petersburg. On this occasion, they sing operatic duets and arias by Verdi, Tchaikovsky, Ambroise Thomas and Bellini. They are accompanied by Constantine Orbelian and the State Hermitage Orchestra. They lead us through the city and perform in the Gold Ballroom of Peterhof Palace, as well as the White Column Room and extraordinary baroque Theater of the Yusupov Palace where they will also sing romances by Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky in the baroque jewel of the theatre, where they will be accompanied by the pianists Olga Kern and Ivary Ilya
