Summary:What do cowboys, gangsters, WWII soldiers, and godfathers all have in common? They have all been brought to life with the sublime film soundtracks of the great Italian composer Ennio Morricone! In a movie music concert like no other, the Danish National Symphony Orchestra and Concert Choir give knockout performances of scores by Morricone (The Big Gundown, The Hateful Eight, Once Upon a Time in the West, Inglourious Basterds ...) and three of his fellow film composers, Bernard Herrmann (Taxi Driver), Sonny Bono (Kill Bill), and Nino Rota (The Godfather Series). They are joined by mezzo-soprano Tuva Semmingsen, soprano Christine Nonbo Andersen, saxophonist Huns Ulrik, and guitarist Mads Kjølby. Photo: © Kim Matthai Leland
