Summary:The great Russian pianist Elisabeth Leonskaja opened the 2017/2018 season of the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse with Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3. The evening's program also included Mozart's Overture to Don Giovanni and Shostakovich's Symphony No. 9. The Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse under the direction of its music director Tugan Sokhiev began its season with three masterpieces of classical music by Mozart, Beethoven, and Shostakovich.
