Zusammenfassung:Accomplished Italian trumpet player Marco Pierobon works with Baruch Harlap on Hummel's Trumpet Concerto in E Major at a master class at the Ra'anana Music Centre in Israel. Hummel's 1803 Trumpet Concerto in E Major was composed for Anton Waidinger, the Viennese court trumpeter and inventor of the keyed-trumpet. Weidinger is believed to have altered sections of the music, primarily in the second movement, in order to fit better on his instrument (possibly without Hummel's agreement). Originally in E major, the concerto is nowadays usually performed in E-flat major, an easier key for modern E-flat and B-flat trumpets. Marco Pierobon is an accomplished Italian trumpet player and professor. He won first prize in international competitions in Passau, Germany, and Imperia and Aqui Terme, Italy. For nearly a decade, Marco has been the Principal Trumpet of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra of Florence and the Accademia di Santa Cecilia Orchestra of Rome. He has collaborated with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Filarmonica della Scala Orchestra. Since 2007, Marco has been trumpet professor at the Conservatories of Bolzano and Reggio Emilia, Italy
