His series It Ain't Necessarily So ... presents conversations with classical music stars. This episode features the virtuoso pianist Evgeny Kissin. Evgeny Kissin was born in Moscow in October 1971. He started to play and improvise on the piano at the age of two. It was clear that little Evgeny was gifted for music. In this episode, Dmitry Sitkovetsky questions Kissin about his debuts as a virtuoso pianist. Kissin talks about his mentor, Anna Pavlovna Kantor and about Chopin (who has always occupied the first place in his repertoire). It Ain't Necessarily So ... In June 2014, famous violonist and conductor Dmitry Sitkovetsky developped an interesting project with M-Productions (Moscow): a great cycle of interviews of important personalities of the musical world.
