This project of Akram Khan is a reflection to its origins : Bangladesh. The film unfolds like a continuity of passages, bridges, and parallel that refers us to a story in which each individual is culturally made. The look of the author opens with geopolitical issues of Bangladesh, one of the most populous countries in the world, developing a reflection on the effects of global warming and economic migration. This film is composed as a poem, by fragment showing images of Bangladesh's people, and by an artist who immigrated shows us through his dance the dream of his origins. Images supporting this dream back in a studio facing a mirror, where everything eventually would be an illusion |
