Zusammenfassung: | This book relates to the scientific lecture program held at Dance Congress 2009 and approaches the plural, hybrid, and disparate worlds of dance and choreography; in addition to the specific discursive and medial strategies, modes, and materials of interdisciplinary perspectives. Thus, it is not only relevant in the context of dance research, but implies epistemological explosiveness as dance may be considered as an exemplary field of investigation with regard to the construction of certitude about the world in the context of assumptions, imagination, action, and perception The concept of worldmaking is based on the idea that the world is not given, but rather produced through language, actions, ideas and perception. This collection of essays takes a closer look at various hybrid and disparate worlds related to dance and choreography. Coming from a broad range of different backgrounds and disciplines, the authors inquire into the ways of producing dance worlds through artistic practice, discourse and media, choreographic form and dance material. The essays in this volume critically reflect the predominant topos of dance as something fleeting and ephemeral - an embodiment of the Other in modernity. Moreover, they demonstrate that there is more than just one universal world of dance, but rather a multitude of interrelated dance worlds with more emerging every day |

Moreover, they demonstrate that there is more than just one universal world of dance, but rather a multitude of interrelated dance worlds with more emerging every day In English Chorégraphie Danse Danse Aspect social Choreography Dance and other performing arts Dance Dance Social aspects GAMES Reference GAMES Travel Games PERFORMING ARTS Dance PERFORMING ARTS Theater The arts Choreography Congresses Dance Congresses Dance Social aspects Congresses Tanz (DE-588)4059028-8 gnd rswk-swf Choreografie (DE-588)4069977-8 gnd rswk-swf Performance Künste (DE-588)4173750-7 gnd rswk-swf Electronic books Congress Actes de congrès Conference papers and proceedings (DE-588)1071861417 Konferenzschrift 2009 Hamburg gnd-content Tanz (DE-588)4059028-8 s Performance Künste (DE-588)4173750-7 s Choreografie (DE-588)4069977-8 s DE-604 Klein, Gabriele Sonstige oth Noeth, Sandra Sonstige oth Erscheint auch als Druck-Ausgabe https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site&db=nlebk&AN=886028 Verlag kostenfrei Volltext text file This work is licensed by Knowledge Unlatched under a Creative Commons license https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/legalcode |
