Beschreibung:Russia has used the pretext of citizen protection outside its state borders as justification for destabilisation of Ukraine. This highlights the important role of a diaspora in international relations. In most cases, diaspora plays a positive role by boosting economic, cultural and political relations between countries. India is an excellent example of how a country should care for the interests of its citizens abroad and capitalise on their potential for national development. The Indian Diaspora numbers over 20 million people and is one of the world's largest. For several years now more people of Indian origin have also been arriving in Poland, where they comprise the eighth largest minority from outside the EU. The following report presents a detailed description of this new minority in Poland and elaborates on its contribution to the development of cooperation with India
