Zusammenfassung:The Metagora project provided scientific and technical support toThe Asia Foundation's project on Mapping Political and Ethnic Violence in Sri Lanka (see box below). This project focuses on the use of quantitative approaches and statistical tools and methods for empowering the documentation, analysis, reporting and advocacy work of non-governmental organisations committed to defending and promoting human rights. This project has enabled Sri Lankan human rights defenders to examine the patterns and magnitude of past and current violations.
