Zusammenfassung:Unique Adventures is a Costa Rican adventure company owned by two female entrepreneurs, Maricruz Pereira and Soledad Naranjo. They offer custom-made packages for visitors wanting to experience Costa Rica from the inside, in the form of adventure tourism, wellness, relaxation and interaction with local communities. Companies like Unique Adventures are the visible face of political determination and government legislation. Since the 1980s, the people and government have worked to make Costa Rica an example of responsible environmental management. Ecotourism in pristine nature is their showcase. The owners of Unique Adventures see environmental and social responsibility as an extension of their own lifestyles, as lived in their own homes. This includes a spirit of partnerships and collaboration with people and businesses in the surrounding communities. The information in this case study is based on an interview with Maricruz Pereira and Soledad Naranjo. Any source not mentioned in the case comes directly from Maricruz and Soledad
