Zusammenfassung:The book "analyzes the reception of the different feminist theories produced in the central countries in relation to the field of Argentine literature, cinema and visual arts. European and Anglo-Saxon critical thinking arrives in Argentina very early in its original language and the work of translation and mimeographic dissemination of our feminists is of the utmost importance. Several of those who participate in these tasks are women linked to the world of culture, more precisely to the field of literature, cinema and visual arts, a fact that impacts on artistic and cultural proposals. [The book] seeks to expand and enrich the studies of our cultural and artistic history, and illuminate the links between it and feminisms. Likewise, placing female representations at the center of the debate of cultural studies, feminist interventions and their theories and analysis leads us to rich fields of interpretation in which non-linear and transdisciplinary perspectives are used. Throughout these pages, readers will observe that feminisms are crossed by ideas that are not homogeneous and undisputed, and that make up a discordant, dynamic, productively heterogeneous and even internally antagonistic field of cultural research. However, all this has great potential when it comes to dismantling the apparently indisputable interpretations that are part of humanistic disciplines." (HKB Translation).
