Zusammenfassung: | In his academic career, that by now spans six decades, Daniel J. Lasker distinguished himself by the wide range of his scholarly interests. In the field of Jewish theology and philosophy he contributed significantly to the study of Rabbinic as well as Karaite authors. In the field of Jewish polemics his studies explore Judeo-Arabic and Hebrew texts, analyzing them in the context of their Christian and Muslim backgrounds. His contributions refer to a wide variety of authors who lived from the 9th century to the 18th century and beyond, in the Muslim East, in Muslin and Christian parts of the Mediterranean Sea, and in west and east Europe. This Festschrift for Daniel J. Lasker consists of four parts. The first highlights his academic career and scholarly achievements. In the three other parts, colleagues and students of Daniel J. Lasker offer their own findings and insights in topics strongly connected to his studies, namely, intersections of Jewish theology and Biblical exegesis with the Islamic and Christian cultures, as well as Jewish-Muslim and Jewish-Christian relations. Thus, this wide-scoped and rich volume offers significant contributions to a variety of topics in Jewish Studies |

Lasker edited by Ehud Krinis, Nabih Bashir, Sara Offenberg, Shalom Sadik Berlin ; Boston De Gruyter [2021] © 2021 1 Online-Ressource (XII, 513 Seiten) txt rdacontent c rdamedia cr rdacarrier Studia Judaica Band 113 In his academic career, that by now spans six decades, Daniel J. Thus, this wide-scoped and rich volume offers significant contributions to a variety of topics in Jewish Studies Lasḳer, Daniʾel 1949- (DE-588)1024555674 gnd rswk-swf Bibel Altes Testament (DE-588)4001515-4 gnd rswk-swf Geschichte gnd rswk-swf Geschichte 800-1500 gnd rswk-swf Bibelexegese Jüdische Studien Religiöse Polemik RELIGION / Judaism / History bisacsh Polemik (DE-588)4174997-2 gnd rswk-swf Interreligiosität (DE-588)4732948-8 gnd rswk-swf Islam (DE-588)4027743-4 gnd rswk-swf Antijudaismus (DE-588)4536893-4 gnd rswk-swf Judentum (DE-588)4114087-4 gnd rswk-swf Exegese (DE-588)4015950-4 gnd rswk-swf Christentum (DE-588)4010074-1 gnd rswk-swf Jüdische Theologie (DE-588)4139773-3 gnd rswk-swf (DE-588)4016928-5 Festschrift gnd-content Judentum (DE-588)4114087-4 s Jüdische Theologie (DE-588)4139773-3 s Interreligiosität (DE-588)4732948-8 s Polemik (DE-588)4174997-2 s Geschichte z DE-604 Bibel Altes Testament (DE-588)4001515-4 u Exegese (DE-588)4015950-4 s Islam (DE-588)4027743-4 s Geschichte 800-1500 z Christentum (DE-588)4010074-1 s Antijudaismus (DE-588)4536893-4 s Lasḳer, Daniʾel 1949- (DE-588)1024555674 p Krinis, Ehud (DE-588)104857606X edt Bashir, Nabih edt Ofenberg, Śarah 1978- (DE-588)104756310X edt Tsadiḳ, Shalom 1980- (DE-588)1044411279 edt Lasḳer, Daniʾel 1949- (DE-588)1024555674 hnr Erscheint auch als Druck-Ausgabe 978-3-11-070062-6 Studia Judaica Band 113 (DE-604)BV046300793 113 https://doi.org/10.1515/9783110702262 Verlag URL des Erstveröffentlichers Volltext |
