Zusammenfassung: | Human leadership is a multifaceted topic in the Hebrew Bible from a synchronic as well as diachronic perspective. A large range of distributions emerges from the successive sharpening or modification of different aspects of leadership. While some of them are combined to a complex figuration of leadership, others remain reserved for certain individuals. Furthermore, it can be considered a consensus within scholarly debate, that concepts of leadership have a certain connection to the history of ancient Israel which is, though, hard to ascertain. Following a previous volume that focused on the Pentateuch and the Former Prophets (BZAW 507), this volume deals with different concepts of leadership in selected Prophetic (Hag/Zech; Jer) and Chronistic literature Ezr/Neh; Chr). They are examined in a literary, (religious-/tradition-) historical and theological perspective. Special emphasis is given to phenomena of transforming authority and leadership claims in exilic/post-exilic times. Hence, the volume contributes to biblical theology and sheds new light on the redaction/reception history of the texts. Not least, it provides valuable insights into the history of religious and/or political "authorities" in Israel and Early Judaism(s) |

Beihefte volume 518 Human leadership is a multifaceted topic in the Hebrew Bible from a synchronic as well as diachronic perspective. Not least, it provides valuable insights into the history of religious and/or political "authorities" in Israel and Early Judaism(s) Bibel Chronistisches Geschichtswerk (DE-588)4070013-6 gnd rswk-swf Bibel Altes Testament Prophetische Bücher (DE-588)4068610-3 gnd rswk-swf RELIGION / Biblical Studies / Old Testament bisacsh Autorität (DE-588)4003990-0 gnd rswk-swf Führung (DE-588)4018776-7 gnd rswk-swf Israel Altertum (DE-588)4072956-4 gnd rswk-swf (DE-588)1071861417 Konferenzschrift 2017 Berlin gnd-content (DE-588)1071861417 Konferenzschrift 2018 Helsinki gnd-content Israel Altertum (DE-588)4072956-4 g Bibel Altes Testament Prophetische Bücher (DE-588)4068610-3 u Führung (DE-588)4018776-7 s Autorität (DE-588)4003990-0 s DE-604 Bibel Chronistisches Geschichtswerk (DE-588)4070013-6 u Pyschny, Katharina 1984- (DE-588)140837574 edt Schulz, Sarah 1982- (DE-588)1089113668 edt European Association for Biblical Studies 2018 Helsinki Annual Meeting Verfasser (DE-588)1225078563 aut Erscheint auch als Druck-Ausgabe 9783110646313 Zeitschrift für die alttestamentliche Wissenschaft.
