POETIKA E EKZISTENCIALIZMIT NË KONTEKST TĖ LETËRSiVE BALLKANIKE Summary The main aim of this scientific book is to elaborate, first, the key trends and proceedings of the (decadent) European philosophy of the existencemainly form 20th century and then years after world war two-and secondly, to be proved some prevailing impacton Balkan cultures and literature, as some writers descriptions pragmatically for the existence trends in the Balkans. In the context of the poetics of the existence, it is understood how the philosophy and the system of ethics and esthetical conventions, takes a special care on the corpus of some of the most distinguished and illustrated developments, such the phenomenon of existence, term essential, term ab surd/absurdity and the term darkness/sufferings. Moreover, the book does an historical turning point in the development of the existence opinion from its avatars and journals, to its most distinguished representatives and literature followers, in European context, with special turning on west Eu ropean trends of the existence. In the context of the influences of the European existing trends on Bal kans, it more emphasized the inter-literature andinter-cultural influences of the west European philosophers and literature-art trends with existence in dications and with a pessimistic and nihilistic point of view of the world. Right at the period of the second world war two Balkan literature are thirs ty for real cores developing practices, open for the new poetical and philo sophy systems, which was a firm sociological-cultural basement for
appea rances of something which could be named as Balkan existence even Bal kan existence terminology. In the scientific book poetics of existency in the Balkan context with a very high preciseness reviews the different semantically aspects of the term exigency. Moreover, it is stressed out that this term is recognized as one of the most important philosophical branches/direction or movement, which very often is identified from the aspect of the influences of collective instances on human being /individual and the new destiny. The individual is always preoccupied with the feeling of non repetition of life, from the hard endeavor and attempts the same to be accomplished, which also re sults with an intensive feeling of absurdity, nothingness and essential free dom of every human life. 119 ~ ~
SHPRESA MEMEDI Scientific book covers and analyzes the most important existence state ments of the big philosophers, whereas the scientific book point out more the philosophical opinion of Soren Kjerkegor, known as Sokrat from Den mark, the the philosophical opinion of Fridrih Nice, Martin Hajdeger, Karl Jaspers, Gabriel Marsel,Zhan-Pol Sartr, Kamyand others. Dissertation parti cularly elaborates the interpretations and contribution of Karl Jaspers for the development of existence as philosophy. He is more focused on psycho logy as a science and always emphasize that with high attention and fun damentally should be studied and acquired one certain science. The exis tence scholarjaspers promotes the acknowledgment of restriction of all sciences, only then would be preparedfor an access to its Existence philo sophy. Furthermore in its elaborations, book reviews the existence views of Martin Hajdeger, its scope moves, between the life and the death of the human beings, who as an ugly creature with no power and strength, frigh tened in every step he makes in his life, a creature which has to experience all the miseries in its short life. For these writers, of this decadent literature poetics and philosophy, opinions and performance are no hallucinations but are one inevitable truth, one hard and dark reality, degraded and de prived of every human life aspect, but always having in mind boundaries of non-humanity not to be overcome. In many case this phenomenon, this desire for existence, this desire of survival, this desire of the individual to exist, desire to be here
in this world, even for one bare single life this attempt to live in any circums tances, to endurethe most non resilient situations, by other words to survi ve even in the most tough terms, is a peculiar stimuli for elaboration of existence theories, especially in the context of West-European, but also in central European and east European cultures and literature, exclusively in the Balkan. In the literature and artistic part of the book thesis are analyzed the ac tions of important number of writers, who with their rich literature corpus gave a big stimuli for the development of this literature philosophical direc tion. The big mind of the twentieth century. Fjodor M, Dostoevski, did a great revolution in the literature world, picturing the images of the discon tented individual in the time of Russian kingdom (caristička). Its images with dignity move towards the edges of existence are evidence for one ex- 120-
POETIKA E EKZISTENCIALIZMITNË KONTEKSTTE LETËRSIVE BALLKANIKE traordinary big culture, for an exclusively important age and for some spe cific moral and religious, esthetical andhuman values as well. The flow of existence continues in the work and ideas of the great wri ter of French literature Sartr, who tries in one specific way to give an elabo ration as justification for the existence as a humanity for the individual. Its figures are reincarnation of the its identity. In their heads there is always brightening the idea of the free man as a single pushing power in this uni verse. Absurdity in this movement continues with the work of Albert Kami. In his speeches he points out that his dramas are not with thesis from the classical Greek tragedy, but they (dramas) are dealing with the human fate and have a psychological character. As many other authors, Kami also iden tifies himself with his heroes-figure in everyday life. With identical visions as Jean-Pol Sartr and Albert Camus, is presented the great French feminine Simone De Bovuar, indentifying entirely with the idea of Sartr that the exis tence is followed by essentiality and that the woman is not bom as woman, but it becomes later, within the frame ofits existence, existing and life. At the part dedicated to the Balkan literature, are analyzed selectively and illustratively, some authors and their work, characteristic for its exis tence poetics. It is about the work of some distinguished authors in the Bal kan territories such as Sterjo Spase, Mesa Selimoviq, Kole Casule and Mi roslav Krleža. These authors
in their work create the image of existence in dividual and existence environment in the surroundings where it is consti tuted their existence habitat, its existence, and its arrangement. The Albanian writer Sterjo Spase, for instance, creates the image of the ruined identity of the absurd nihilist Gjon Zaveri. The Bosnian author Mesa Selimoviq, from other side, creates the tragic images put on in narrative si tuation. The Macedonian writer Kole Casule, with its national existence drama, succeeds in expressing some age messages of the Macedonian peo ple. The Croatian writer Miroslav Krleža, with his dramas, presents one fi gure of imagination of distant times, but in reality in his dramas always is present the time being and the actual existence of its images. At the end, we raise one important aspect which can open another im portant issue. The book mainly, does not focus and it does not give any emphasis to some European and Balkan art and literature experiences, such the experience of the theater of the absurdity, because basically the research focus was appointed to be addressed to wards the narrative literature, to wards the stories and fiction, respectively because we are convinced that 121 ~ ~
SHPRESA MEMEDl the theater of absurdity is a special research complex which merits special attention and entire systematic study. Regardless of that, it should be pointed out the fact that the issue of in fluences of poetics and philosophy of European existence on Balkan litera ture and the issue which has not been enough researchedyet, and this book is just an introduction to its further more-integrated research and interpre tation. Therefore, the aim of the scientific book Poetics of existence in the Balkan context was to point out the basic inter-textual, inter-literal and in tercultural common ground and interpretation between the European and Balkan literature, but not to be given a final elaborations to this question. 122 ~ ~

POETIKA E EKZISTENCIALIZMIT NË KONTEKST TĖ LETËRSiVE BALLKANIKE Summary The main aim of this scientific book is to elaborate, first, the key trends and proceedings of the (decadent) European philosophy of the existencemainly form 20th century and then years after world war two-and secondly, to be proved some prevailing impacton Balkan cultures and literature, as some writers' descriptions pragmatically for the existence trends in the Balkans. In the context of the poetics of the existence, it is understood how the philosophy and the system of ethics and esthetical conventions, takes a special care on the corpus of some of the most distinguished and illustrated developments, such the phenomenon of existence, term essential, term ab surd/absurdity and the term darkness/sufferings. Moreover, the book does an historical turning point in the development of the existence opinion from its avatars and journals, to its most distinguished representatives and literature followers, in European context, with special turning on west Eu ropean trends of the existence. In the context of the influences of the European existing trends on Bal kans, it more emphasized the inter-literature andinter-cultural influences of the west European philosophers and literature-art trends with existence in dications and with a pessimistic and nihilistic point of view of the world. Right at the period of the second world war two Balkan literature are thirs ty for real cores developing practices, open for the new poetical and philo sophy systems, which was a firm sociological-cultural basement for
appea rances of something which could be named as "Balkan existence" even Bal kan existence terminology. In the scientific book "poetics of existency in the Balkan context" with a very high preciseness reviews the different semantically aspects of the term exigency. Moreover, it is stressed out that this term is recognized as one of the most important philosophical branches/direction or movement, which very often is identified from the aspect of the influences of collective instances on human being /individual and the new destiny. The individual is always preoccupied with the feeling of non repetition of life, from the hard endeavor and attempts the same to be accomplished, which also re sults with an intensive feeling of absurdity, nothingness and essential free dom of every human life. 119 ~ ~
SHPRESA MEMEDI Scientific book covers and analyzes the most important existence state ments of the big philosophers, whereas the scientific book point out more the philosophical opinion of Soren Kjerkegor, known as Sokrat from Den mark, the the philosophical opinion of Fridrih Nice, Martin Hajdeger, Karl Jaspers, Gabriel Marsel,Zhan-Pol Sartr, Kamyand others. Dissertation parti cularly elaborates the interpretations and contribution of Karl Jaspers for the development of existence as philosophy. He is more focused on psycho logy as a science and always emphasize that with high attention and fun damentally should be studied and acquired one certain science. The exis tence scholarjaspers promotes the acknowledgment of restriction of all sciences, only then would be preparedfor an access to its Existence philo sophy. Furthermore in its elaborations, book reviews the existence views of Martin Hajdeger, its scope moves, between the life and the death of the human beings, who as an ugly creature with no power and strength, frigh tened in every step he makes in his life, a creature which has to experience all the miseries in its short life. For these writers, of this decadent literature poetics and philosophy, opinions and performance are no hallucinations but are one inevitable truth, one hard and dark reality, degraded and de prived of every human life aspect, but always having in mind boundaries of non-humanity not to be overcome. In many case this phenomenon, this desire for existence, this desire of survival, this desire of the individual to exist, desire to be here
in this world, even for one "bare single life" this attempt to live in any circums tances, to endurethe most non resilient situations, by other words to survi ve even in the most tough terms, is a peculiar stimuli for elaboration of existence theories, especially in the context of West-European, but also in central European and east European cultures and literature, exclusively in the Balkan. In the literature and artistic part of the book thesis are analyzed the ac tions of important number of writers, who with their rich literature corpus gave a big stimuli for the development of this literature philosophical direc tion. The big mind of the twentieth century. Fjodor M, Dostoevski, did a great revolution in the literature world, picturing the images of the discon tented individual in the time of Russian kingdom (caristička). Its images with dignity move towards the edges of existence are evidence for one ex- 120-
POETIKA E EKZISTENCIALIZMITNË KONTEKSTTE LETËRSIVE BALLKANIKE traordinary big culture, for an exclusively important age and for some spe cific moral and religious, esthetical andhuman values as well. The flow of existence continues in the work and ideas of the great wri ter of French literature Sartr, who tries in one specific way to give an elabo ration as justification for the existence as a humanity for the individual. Its figures are reincarnation of the its identity. In their heads there is always brightening the idea of the free man as a single pushing power in this uni verse. Absurdity in this movement continues with the work of Albert Kami. In his speeches he points out that his dramas are not with thesis from the classical Greek tragedy, but they (dramas) are dealing with the human fate and have a psychological character. As many other authors, Kami also iden tifies himself with his heroes-figure in everyday life. With identical visions as Jean-Pol Sartr and Albert Camus, is presented the great French feminine Simone De Bovuar, indentifying entirely with the idea of Sartr that the exis tence is followed by essentiality and that the woman is not bom as woman, but it becomes later, within the frame ofits existence, existing and life. At the part dedicated to the Balkan literature, are analyzed selectively and illustratively, some authors and their work, characteristic for its exis tence poetics. It is about the work of some distinguished authors in the Bal kan territories such as Sterjo Spase, Mesa Selimoviq, Kole Casule and Mi roslav Krleža. These authors
in their work create the image of existence in dividual and existence environment in the surroundings where it is consti tuted their existence habitat, its existence, and its arrangement. The Albanian writer Sterjo Spase, for instance, creates the image of the ruined identity of the absurd nihilist Gjon Zaveri. The Bosnian author Mesa Selimoviq, from other side, creates the tragic images put on in narrative si tuation. The Macedonian writer Kole Casule, with its national existence drama, succeeds in expressing some age messages of the Macedonian peo ple. The Croatian writer Miroslav Krleža, with his dramas, presents one fi gure of imagination of distant times, but in reality in his dramas always is present the time being and the actual existence of its images. At the end, we raise one important aspect which can open another im portant issue. The book mainly, does not focus and it does not give any emphasis to some European and Balkan art and literature experiences, such the experience of the theater of the absurdity, because basically the research focus was appointed to be addressed to wards the narrative literature, to wards the stories and fiction, respectively because we are convinced that 121 ~ ~
SHPRESA MEMEDl the theater of absurdity is a special research complex which merits special attention and entire systematic study. Regardless of that, it should be pointed out the fact that the issue of in fluences of poetics and philosophy of European existence on Balkan litera ture and the issue which has not been enough researchedyet, and this book is just an introduction to its further more-integrated research and interpre tation. Therefore, the aim of the scientific book "Poetics of existence in the Balkan context"was to point out the basic inter-textual, inter-literal and in tercultural common ground and interpretation between the European and Balkan literature, but not to be given a final elaborations to this question. 122 ~ ~
