enlargement policy is currently a priority on the EU level. European Union is currently facing many political challenges like Brexit, rise of Euroscepticism, migration and so on. It seems like, accepting new members is currently not one of the main European priorities. Nevertheless, political elites and citizens of Montenegro strongly support the European path of the country. The accession process is perceived as a great opportunity for development of the political, economic and social systems, as well as improvement of life quality of citizens.
