From Richard Wright to Sigmund Freud, Simone de Beauvoir to Frantz Fanon, writers and thinkers have continually grappled with this most dangerous of phobias. As populist governments increasingly mobilize xenophobia against migrants and minorities, this book explores the scale of the problem—and shows us how we can combat it.
