Currently, no other textbook teaches skills required to develop a comprehension of modern academic Persian. This textbook includes passages selected from a diverse number of fields including history, philosophy, cultural studies, political sciences, economics, literature, religious studies and tourism. The book covers essential reading skills an advanced learner needs to deal with texts in humanities and social sciences. Numerous exercises in each unit help learners mastermind many frequent terms and phrases in modern academic Persian. Variety of exercises ensure maximized exposure to current discourses in academic Persian. Each unit offers some optional exercises for learners who would like to practice some writing in academic Persian.
