The first part is the content of the lectures given by Florence Chia-ying Yeh. The author explains to readers with accessible, graceful and refined language the famous theory on "artistic conceptions" in Renjian Cihua, the difference between Shi and Ci, two genres of classical Chinese poetry, in aesthetic traits, and the Ci poems of famous Ci poets in various dynasties. The second part is the original text of Renjian Cihua"--
