Zusammenfassung: | This volume examines whether dramatic fragments should be approached as parts of a greater whole or as self-contained entities. It comprises contributions by a broad spectrum of international scholars: by young researchers working on fragmentary drama as well as by well-known experts in this field. The volume explores another kind of fragmentation that seems already to have been embraced by the ancient dramatists: "ations extracted from their context and immersed in a new whole, in which they work both as cohesive unities and detachable entities. Sections of poetic works circulated in antiquity not only as parts of a whole, but also independently, i.e. as component fractions, rather like "ations on facebook today. Fragmentation can thus be seen operating on the level of dissociation, but also on the level of cohesion. The volume investigates interpretive possibilities, "ation contexts, production and reception stages of fragmentary texts, looking into the ways dramatic fragments can either increase the depth of fragmentation or strengthen the intensity of cohesion |

Supplementary volumes Band 84 This volume examines whether dramatic fragments should be approached as parts of a greater whole or as self-contained entities. The volume investigates interpretive possibilities, "ation contexts, production and reception stages of fragmentary texts, looking into the ways dramatic fragments can either increase the depth of fragmentation or strengthen the intensity of cohesion "ation methods Ancient Greek dramatic fragment Aufführung Rekonstruktion Theater Zitierweise performance reconstruction LITERARY CRITICISM / Ancient & Classical bisacsh Fragment (DE-588)4155137-0 gnd rswk-swf Griechisch (DE-588)4113791-7 gnd rswk-swf Drama (DE-588)4012899-4 gnd rswk-swf (DE-588)1071861417 Konferenzschrift 2018 Thessaloniki gnd-content Griechische Tragödie (DE-2581)TH000005600 gbd Griechisch (DE-588)4113791-7 s Drama (DE-588)4012899-4 s Fragment (DE-588)4155137-0 s DE-604 Lamarē, Anna (DE-588)1144368898 edt Montanari, Franco 1950- (DE-588)1012855805 edt Novokhatko, Anna A. 1978- (DE-588)13832347X edt Erscheint auch als Druck-Ausgabe, Hardcover 978-3-11-062102-0 Trends in classics.
