Volume 2 titled "El Arte de la Pintura" has an introduction on the Liberal Arts and presents artistic works by 18th and 19th century master painters in Mexico: Gaspar Coronado, Jose Juárez, Cristobal de Villalpando, Francisco Martinez , Agustín Arrieta and others.
