Or rather, why should we re-read "this" Sombart? This book tracks the human sense in order to rediscover this compass against the current crisis of the humanistic conception of society. This crisis is manifest in a repositioning of society, which is no longer human by definition, in contrast to the past, when the term "human society" was a tautology and redundant. As such, the human element of society must be rediscovered.
