Zusammenfassung:On May 25, 1926, in the heart of Paris, Samuel Schwartzbard, an anarchist Russian Jew, shot seven revolver bullets at the nationalist leader of Ukraine, Simon Petlioua, whom he considered responsible for the terrible massacres perpetrated against his fellow co-religionists - massacres which he preceived with lucidity as justification for his action: he killed with premeditation and acted with his conscience. Defended by Henry Torrès, a famous lawyer, who would turn the case into a "show trial", Schwartzbard would be acquitted. Returing to this singular verdict where the victim becomes the accused, Rémy Bijaoui reopens the case. Instructing on the charge and with discharge, with thoroughness of a lawyer and the rigor of a historian, he reconsiders the tragic years of 1917-1919 in Ukraine and takes an impartial look at this process which caused a great noise at the time
