Zusammenfassung: | Leah R. Clark examines collecting practices across the Italian Renaissance court, exploring the circulation, exchange, collection, and display of objects. Rather than focusing on patronage strategies or the political power of individual collectors, she uses the objects themselves to elucidate the dynamic relationships formed through their exchange. Her study brings forward the mechanisms that structured relations within the court, and most importantly, also with individuals, representations, and spaces outside the court. The volume examines the courts of Italy through the wide variety of objects - statues, paintings, jewellery, furniture, and heraldry - that were valued for their subject matter, material forms, histories, and social functions. As Clark shows, the late fifteenth-century Italian court an be located not only in the body of the prince, but also in the objects that constituted symbolic practices, initiated political dialogues, caused rifts, created memories, and formed associations |

As Clark shows, the late fifteenth-century Italian court an be located not only in the body of the prince, but also in the objects that constituted symbolic practices, initiated political dialogues, caused rifts, created memories, and formed associations Carafa, Diomede Bischof 1492-1560 (DE-588)129743844 gnd rswk-swf Roberti, Ercole de' 1456-1496 (DE-588)11883570X gnd rswk-swf Eleonora Ferrara, Herzogin 1450-1493 (DE-588)129006661 gnd rswk-swf Hermelinorden Königreich Neapel (DE-588)1166186156 gnd rswk-swf Geschichte 1490 gnd rswk-swf Geschichte 1450-1510 gnd rswk-swf Sammlung (DE-588)4128844-0 gnd rswk-swf Kunsthandwerk (DE-588)4073883-8 gnd rswk-swf Diptychon (DE-588)4210817-2 gnd rswk-swf Tausch (DE-588)4184535-3 gnd rswk-swf Pferdekopf Motiv (DE-588)4174027-0 gnd rswk-swf Geschenk (DE-588)4020511-3 gnd rswk-swf Plastik (DE-588)4046277-8 gnd rswk-swf Auftraggeber (DE-588)4143425-0 gnd rswk-swf Hermelin Motiv (DE-588)1122023960 gnd rswk-swf Handel (DE-588)4023222-0 gnd rswk-swf Kunst (DE-588)4114333-4 gnd rswk-swf Netzwerk (DE-588)4171529-9 gnd rswk-swf Neapel (DE-588)4041476-0 gnd rswk-swf Florenz (DE-588)4017581-9 gnd rswk-swf Italien (DE-588)4027833-5 gnd rswk-swf Palazzo Carafa di Maddaloni Neapel (DE-588)4607019-9 gnd rswk-swf Art, Renaissance / Collectors and collecting / Italy Art objects, Renaissance / Collectors and collecting / Italy Courts / Italy / History Italien (DE-588)4027833-5 g Kunst (DE-588)4114333-4 s Kunsthandwerk (DE-588)4073883-8 s Sammlung (DE-588)4128844-0 s Tausch (DE-588)4184535-3 s Geschenk (DE-588)4020511-3 s Geschichte 1450-1510 z DE-604 Palazzo Carafa di Maddaloni Neapel (DE-588)4607019-9 g Plastik (DE-588)4046277-8 s Pferdekopf Motiv (DE-588)4174027-0 s Carafa, Diomede Bischof 1492-1560 (DE-588)129743844 p Florenz (DE-588)4017581-9 g Neapel (DE-588)4041476-0 g Handel (DE-588)4023222-0 s Netzwerk (DE-588)4171529-9 s Eleonora Ferrara, Herzogin 1450-1493 (DE-588)129006661 p Roberti, Ercole de' 1456-1496 (DE-588)11883570X p Diptychon (DE-588)4210817-2 s Geschichte 1490 z Hermelinorden Königreich Neapel (DE-588)1166186156 b Auftraggeber (DE-588)4143425-0 s Hermelin Motiv (DE-588)1122023960 s Erscheint auch als Online-Ausgabe 978-1-108-58653-5 KUBIKAT Anreicherung application/pdf http://bvbr.bib-bvb.de:8991/F?func=service&doc_library=BVB01&local_base=BVB01&doc_number=030497553&sequence=000001&line_number=0001&func_code=DB_RECORDS&service_type=MEDIA Inhaltsverzeichnis |
