Conclusion
Drenica War, led by national tribune, Shaban
Polluzha and military strategist, Mehmet Gradica, is a
special chapter of our glorious history, which, although
it is treated by many historians and researchers, still
needs to be studied. Drenica War was fleeting, bloody
and very complex, so its real reflection almost becomes
impossible. The massive participation of the people in
this war, allows us to show it from its various angles.
Each fighter of these events and battles, presents his own
history and is a part of that national glory, who can give
details of that tragic and heroic drama.
Such a fighter was Asllan Jashari, the comrade
of Shaban Polluzha. He was from Lower Prekaz, and in
his brilliant memory kept fresh those events that have
been experienced himself. And through him I wrote my
book Drenica War according to the stories by Asllan
Jashari ,
Its quite interesting the first part of the book,
which deals with the genealogy of Jashari family and
villagers of Prekaz in general, respectively for the tribe
KUQ which, according to the narrator was and remains
the most fighter tribe in the history of Albanians and
gave so many brave people.
His stories are original, direct and very accurate.
He speaks more for the others than for himself, although
he keeps in his memory a wound he got at the battle at

Pestova Bridge. Admiringly he tells about the wars and
battles in Yeni Pazar and Sandzak, in Artakoll and at
Shala e Bajgores, in Pestova and Podujevo, focusing on
their top battle in Drenica, respectively at Terstenik,
where heroically fall the commanders Shaban Polluzha
and Mehmet Gradica.
Inside the book nDrenica War according to the
stories by Asllan Jashari there is enriched with the
portraits of brave warriors from different historical
periods. Thus, the curious reader is able to read about
Hasan Prishtina and Adem Jashari, Shaban Polluzha
and Mehmet Gradica for Rifat Galica and Emin Lati for
Halil Bajraktari and Halil Haxhia, for Miftar Bajraktari
and Sadik Zeneli, for Xheme Ternafci and Jusuf Rexha,
for Nebih and Tahir Mehaf for Hamze Jashari and even
for the youngest soldier of Brigade 114, Esat Jashari.
All these information, combined with the
historical background, give a realistic review of the
Drenica War with its greatness and tragedy at the same
time.
Besides describing the battles and events for
Drenica War, in the last chapters dominate the stories
that tell us about the last liberation war, where Asllan
Jashari s family gave a lot. His eldest son, Smajl Jashari
(1951-1998), on the 5th of March 1998 was the
messenger and he emptied his rifle and alone with his
loyal Italian riffle fought for hours and stood on the
threshold of his house. Also the others took the arms to
fight. His second son, Hasan, until the end of the war
was at the Military Police at the Brigade 111, and
thereafter he never stopped in the realization of the fruits
of the KLA war. Special case is Hasan s son, Esat, who

as a 16-year-old was the youngest soldier of KLA
Brigade 114 Fehmi Lladrovci
The uniqueness of the book is that the events flow
almost parallel in two lines: stories by the main
character and authorial supplements or from the
relevant literature, which are substantial in relation to
the semantic meaning, which are called Intermeco.
The book is completed with songs, photos and
other material related to the family of Asllan Jashari and
Jashari family in general, and ended with his death and
burial, exactly on Flag Day, on 28 November 2010.
Therefore, we can freely conclude that the book
Drenica War according to the stories by Asllan
Jashari comes as a monolith eternity for this great
historical event, exactly on the 73 th anniversary.
