Zusammenfassung:One day when Zhihao, a boy from an Amis village, is riding his bicycle, he finds his Grandpa Jinyi lying unconscious in the road. Zhihao is anxious to call for help but doesn’t know what to do. When he sees an old bell which obviously had been lying abandoned in the grass for many years, he picks up a stone and strikes it again and again. The older villagers remember this sound very well: Long ago, they had turned an unexploded bomb, dropped on their village by an American plane during World War II, into an alarm bell. They rush in to help and bring Zhihao’s grandpa to hospital. Thereafter they install the bell in the village center and restore it to its original purpose.
