The present book focuses on
the contributions of the African
thinkers, Amilcar Cabral of Guinea
Bissau and Frantz Fanon of Algeria
towards the revolutions in their
respective countries. The work
covers their revolutionary edifice,
postulation, orientation, agreements
and disagreements with each other
and their non-African counterparts.
They took deviations from Karl
Marx and other traditional theorists
on revolution wherever they
desired so as to suit the condition
of their respective countries. Any
revolutionary theory, according
to them has to be adjusted to the
peculiar condition of a particular
country. Class struggle and strategy
of political development in Africa,
therefore is quite different from
developed nations and hence to be
looked in different perspectives.
The present book looks into a
comprehensive strategy of political
development in Africa in the realm
of class struggle.
