In a climate that seems fraught with continuous crisis, finding new ways to break through the impasse of the present in order to access alternate openings to the future is an increasingly urgent task. The concepts in Future Theory are organized around five key modes of transition - change, boundaries, ruptures, assemblages, horizons examined by leading international thinkers. This book builds a vision of how theory contributes to mapping new futures in a world that seems currently defined by crisis and catastrophic acceleration, insisting on the capacity of committed Conceptual thought to imagine different possible futures.
