Zusammenfassung: | Traditional theories of justice as formulated by political philosophers, jurists and economists have all tended to see injustice as simply a breach of justice, a breakdown of the normal order. Amartya Sen's work acts as a corrective to this tradition by arguing that we can recognise patent injustices, and come to a reasoned agreement about the need to remedy them, without reference to an explicit theory of justice. Against Injustice brings together distinguished academics from a variety of different fields - including economics, law, philosophy and anthropology - to explore the ideas underlying Sen's critique of traditional approaches to injustice. The centrepiece of the book is the first chapter by Sen in which he outlines his conception of the relationship between economics, ethics and law. The rest of the book addresses a variety of theoretical and empirical issues that relate to this conception, concluding with a response from Sen to his critics |

The rest of the book addresses a variety of theoretical and empirical issues that relate to this conception, concluding with a response from Sen to his critics Sen, Amartya / 1933- Sen, Amartya 1933- (DE-588)119290367 gnd rswk-swf Philosophie Wirtschaft Economics / Philosophy Justice (Philosophy) Gerechtigkeitsvorstellung (DE-588)4156810-2 gnd rswk-swf Gerechtigkeit (DE-588)4020310-4 gnd rswk-swf Wirtschaft (DE-588)4066399-1 gnd rswk-swf Soziale Gerechtigkeit (DE-588)4236433-4 gnd rswk-swf Rechtsethik (DE-588)4177216-7 gnd rswk-swf Wirtschaftsethik (DE-588)4066439-9 gnd rswk-swf 1\p (DE-588)4143413-4 Aufsatzsammlung gnd-content Sen, Amartya 1933- (DE-588)119290367 p Gerechtigkeitsvorstellung (DE-588)4156810-2 s Soziale Gerechtigkeit (DE-588)4236433-4 s Wirtschaftsethik (DE-588)4066439-9 s Rechtsethik (DE-588)4177216-7 s 2\p DE-604 Wirtschaft (DE-588)4066399-1 s Gerechtigkeit (DE-588)4020310-4 s 3\p DE-604 Gotō, Reiko edt Dumouchel, Paul 1951- (DE-588)1028808763 edt Erscheint auch als Druckausgabe 978-0-521-18261-4 Erscheint auch als Druckausgabe 978-0-521-89959-8 https://doi.org/10.1017/CBO9780511657443 Verlag URL des Erstveröffentlichers Volltext 1\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 2\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 3\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk |
