Zusammenfassung: | This book explores the intersection between cognitive sciences and social sciences. In particular, it explores the intersection between individual cognitive modeling and modeling of multi-agent interaction (social stimulation). The two contributing fields - individual cognitive modeling (especially cognitive architectures) and modeling of multi-agent interaction (including social simulation and, to some extent, multi-agent systems) - have seen phenomenal growth in recent years. However, the interaction of these two fields has not been sufficiently developed. We believe that the interaction of the two may be more significant than either alone. They bring with them enormous intellectual capitals. These intellectual capitals can be profitably leveraged in creating true synergy between the two fields, leading to more in-depth studies and better understanding of both individual cognition and sociocultural processes. It is possible that an integrative field of study in cognitive and social sciences is emerging and we are laying the foundation for it |

Ritter and Emma Norling -- When does social simulation need cognitive models? / Nigel Gilbert This book explores the intersection between cognitive sciences and social sciences. It is possible that an integrative field of study in cognitive and social sciences is emerging and we are laying the foundation for it Intelligent agents (Computer software) Computer systems Cognition Interaktion (DE-588)4027266-7 gnd rswk-swf 3D-Druck (DE-588)1032223197 gnd rswk-swf Entscheidung (DE-588)4014904-3 gnd rswk-swf Simulation (DE-588)4055072-2 gnd rswk-swf Entscheidungsmodell (DE-588)4121201-0 gnd rswk-swf Kommunikation (DE-588)4031883-7 gnd rswk-swf Mobile Architektur (DE-588)4479697-3 gnd rswk-swf Gruppe (DE-588)4022378-4 gnd rswk-swf Prozesssimulation (DE-588)4176077-3 gnd rswk-swf Robotik (DE-588)4261462-4 gnd rswk-swf Architektur (DE-588)4002851-3 gnd rswk-swf (DE-588)4143413-4 Aufsatzsammlung gnd-content Mobile Architektur (DE-588)4479697-3 s Robotik (DE-588)4261462-4 s 3D-Druck (DE-588)1032223197 s Architektur (DE-588)4002851-3 s DE-604 Entscheidung (DE-588)4014904-3 s Prozesssimulation (DE-588)4176077-3 s 1\p DE-604 Entscheidungsmodell (DE-588)4121201-0 s Simulation (DE-588)4055072-2 s 2\p DE-604 Interaktion (DE-588)4027266-7 s Kommunikation (DE-588)4031883-7 s Gruppe (DE-588)4022378-4 s Sun, Ron 1960- edt Erscheint auch als Druckausgabe 978-0-521-72895-9 Erscheint auch als Druckausgabe 978-0-521-83964-8 https://doi.org/10.1017/CBO9780511610721 Verlag URL des Erstveröffentlichers Volltext 1\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 2\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk |
