With applications that including water treatment, fuel cells, hydrogen production
from fossil fuels, syngas preparation, and pervaporation (separating mixtures of
liquids), membrane reactors are increasingly replacing conventional separation,
process, and conversion technologies across a wide range of applications.

schemes to allow the development of improved processes in terms of resource
