ALTHOUGH THE ARGUMENT IS RIGOROUS, IT IS ALSO ACCESSIBLE. NO TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE BEYOND THE RUDIMENTS OF PROBABILITY THEORY, ARITHMETIC, AND ALGEBRA IS PRESUPPOSED, OTHERWISE UNFAMILIAR TERMS ARE ALWAYS DEFINED AND A NUMBER OF CONCRETE EXAMPLES ARE GIVEN.
