Beschreibung:	New, restored 2K digital film transfer Original: Indien 1964 The booklet featuring an essay by critic Philip Kemp and a 1980s interview with Ray by his biographer Andrew Robinson Enthält new interview program with actors Madhabi Mukherjee (Charulata) and Soumitra Chatterjee (Amal) recall their contribution to Charulata and discuss the shooting process. The two actors also discuss Satyajit Ray's directing style and the manner in which he communicated with the cast during and after the shooting of the film. The interviews were conducted exclusively for Criterion in Calcutta in 2013. In Bengali, with optional English subtitles.
